Artwork story: Breathing Country is an exploration of the texture of Country, painted with natural ochres and acrylic paint. This artwork is a symbolism drawing drawing strength from Country, especially through hard times. I go out and place my feet on Country, look to the sky and breathe with her. We share an eternal connection through our breath. I breathe life into her by doing my part in treading lightly and passing on knowledge of how to care for her and heal her.
