Commission Request Form
How do commissions work?
The process for commissioning an artwork starts with the Commission Request Form. After a form is submitted, Leah will contact you within 7 business days to discuss your request and provide a quote. Once the quote is accepted, a 30% non-refundable deposit must be paid before commencement of the artwork.
Leah will draft a digital design based on your theme, story, colour palette and other requirements, and email it to you for your approval before painting the final artwork. If the design doesn’t meet your vision, there is a maximum of 2 further changes to the design. If more than 2, further fees will be discussed. Once you are happy with the design, Leah will begin the final artwork. If you would like progress updates/photos of your commission in progress, please let Leah know.
Leah will negotiate with you the completion and hand-over of your artwork. You will be sent an invoice for the final 70% payment before the artwork is handed over.

How do murals work?
As Leah is based on Ngunnawal Country, Canberra, it is preferred that murals are based in the region. If you are interested in enquiring about a mural interstate, travel and accomodation expenses will be additional to mural costings.
Murals can be painted straight onto a surface or onto removable boards. Depending on the surface and whether the mural is in/outdoor, will depend on the type of paint and sealer used.
For schools, education settings, organisations and businesses, the option to collaborate , paint and interact with Leah during the mural process is welcomed, depending on Leah’s schedule. This part of the mural process will incur a workshop fee.
If you are interested in a mural, fill out the Mural Request Form.
What size artworks can you paint?
Leah can work from as small as 10 x 8cm up to any size. Leah prefers to work on stretched canvas, however, sizes larger than 1.5 x 1.5 meters inches requires Leah to work on un-stretched canvas due to space restrictions. Leah also works on wooden board and is open to painting on other surfaces.
